In the wild, survival of the fittest is the rule, but rules are meant to be broken. A sickly and hungry old lioness manages to fend off the attack of an enemy pride, all caught on camera from only five meters away... A young leopard being re-introduced into the wild needs to rely on her natural instinct and physical agility when a zebra stallion takes her on...
When death is knocking at the door it’s incredible to witness what can be accomplished, no matter how small you may be. With all escape routes blocked and nowhere to run these two honey badgers were running out of options - fast. Six lionesses creep forward licking their lips with anticipation. When suddenly, the two badgers erupt into action and begin snarling, hissing and barking at the approaching pride. Unimaginably, the lionesses not only stop in their tracks but actually retreat as the two badgers continue to voice their anger.
Their mission was the translocation of a five meter giraffe, but no-one could have predicted what went wrong. The giraffe was darted successfully and the team waits for the anaesthetic to kick in, but the semi conscious giraffe runs the wrong way, heading straight towards the dam. Crashing into the dam, the giraffe drops, with its head beneath the water. In a race against time the team have to rescue the sedated giant before it drowns.
