Baboons are often mistaken for placid vegetarians, docile creatures that act as wildlife’s comedians, but this incredible footage shows a very dark side to the African baboon. In a dramatic change of character, a troop of delinquent baboons suddenly get the thirst for blood and turn their attention on the tree top nursery of the weavers’ nests.

Protection from the herd is usually the saving grace of Buffalo but this individual has lost both his way and his family. So the approaching pride of lions can already taste the free meal! Follow this nail-biting sequence as the terrified buffalo runs for its life and chooses to head out into open water, to brave hordes of crocodile jaws instead of staying on land to be eaten alive by the lions.

Two elephants stood side by nudging for space when suddenly the smaller of the two turned, ramming the larger, older elephant to the floor and proceeded to maul the fallen victim with his ivory tusks. The defeated elephant stays motionless on the floor until the youngster retreats. Incredibly the younger elephant appears to return in aid of his elder, but in fact, it’s a second attack!
